One of the leading aspirants jostling for the ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Faozey Oladotun Nurudeen has claimed victory over fellow contenders to contest for the Oyo Central Senatorial district seat in the upper chamber of the National Assembly in next year’s general elections.
He said he was declared winner of the Oyo Central primary that was held yesterday, 28th May, 2022 having polled 300 votes.
Speaking through Director-General of his campaign organisation, Alhaji Semiu Alebiosu, said the primary election held at Royal Seed Event Centre, Moniya, Ibadan, and presided over by Mrs Ajibike, saw Nurudeen polling 300 votes ahead of Dr Yunus Akintunde (114), Hon. Bimbo Kolade (30), Mr Oyeleru Oyedemi (43) and Senator Ayo Adeseun (0).
Engineer Faozey Oladotun Nurudeen, who hails from Ile Onilada, Pakoyi/Idode, Oyo, Oyo State, was born on the 2nd December, 1983, in the cosmopolitan city of Ibadan.
He had his early education in Barakat Nursery and Primary School, Bodija; Methodist Grammar School, Bodija, Ibadan; University of Ilorin in the Electrical Department, with a second class upper division; a Diploma in Business Information Technology at the prestigious Canford Institute of Technology, Canada.
