He reiterated his believe and commitment to the political struggle being embark on by the Oyo PDP factional stakeholders against the acclaimed poor leadership style of Governor Seyi Makinde.

Few hours ago, a picture of Alhaji Bola Akinyemi, the other factional PRO, Akeem Olatunji, the chairman Oluyole Local Government, Hon. Olaide Settle and one of Party members from Oluyole local government surfaced on internet, with the believe that the photograph was taken after a meeting where Bola Akinyemi had agreed to return to governor Seyi Makinde camp.

Similarly, in a post on his Facebook account, Akinyemi, Akinyemi said he initially wanted to ignore the news but calls from within and outside the state made him to react.

He said: “My attention has been drawn to a write up that I have become a GSMist simply bcos I attended a meeting to which I was duly invited as a political appointee from Oluyole local government.

“I stated very clearly at the meeting that I’m an unrepentant aggrieved and justifiably so.

“My initial thought was to ignore the yellow journalism but calls from respected people even outside Oyo State has made me to clarify issues.

“I want to say very succinctly that I  had always expressed my opinions about this government in the media as well as any fora involving His Excellency.

“Those who were close enough would agree that I have the  right to be  aggrieved considering my contributions to the emergence of  Engr Seyi Makinde as governor.

“Having served under distinguished leaders such as great Lam and the evergreen, Osi Olubadan, I have received tutelage enough to know Party administration and governance.

“Even if there would be a  truce, the leadership of the aggrieved is in a position to declare same depending on the Governor’s willingness to sheath the swords.

“My family are warriors and we don’t betray any cause in which we are involved. However,  if I’m invited to  any meeting bothering  on the development of my community, I’ll always attend bcos politics is local.

“I thank the writers of the story because it’s very amusing and shows that my absence has been missed.”
