The chairman of Oorelope Local Government, Hon. Akeem Raheem, has told the Chairman of the Oyo State Water Corporation, Dr. Adebayo Adepoju that the people of the local government have high hopes regarding the Igboho Waterworks.
Raheem, who stated this when officials of the Water Corporation, led by the chairman, paid a working visit to the local government to inspect the facilities at the Waterworks, commended Governor Seyi Makinde’s government for revisiting the moribund Waterworks.
He extended his appreciation to the governor for his efforts in developing the state across different sectors, stating that the move to provide potable water for communities in Oorelope Local Government is a welcome development.
He added that the approval given by the governor to the state’s Water Corporation to ensure that the Waterworks is put to work will make the people feel the impact of the government more.

In another development, the council chairman welcomed the new batch of National Youth Service Corps to Oorelope Local Government, noting that Oyo State is a friendly environment where the corps members would thrive.
