Like the saying, “a gold fish has no hidden place”, two international recognized youth organizations, Digital African Youth Forum (DAYFORUM) and Nigeria Youth League (NYL) have honoured Hassan Giwa as Grand Patron.
This was followed by his numerous efforts and contributions to making a better society through service to humanity.
According to the two organizations (DAYFORUM and NYL), the honour is in recognition of Arc (Dr.) Hassan Olawale Giwa’s tremendous contribution towards educational development, youth empowerment, service to the nation and excellent service in the Real Estate industry.
Digital African Youth FORUM, which was led by some members of the executive including Nafisa Bello, Dahiru Lawal Mamman, Alex Oyerinde, Sherifat Oyiza Sleiman and Idris Muhammad, commended Arc Giwa, who is the Chairman, Amron Global Services Limited and Founder of Hassan Olawale Giwa (HOG) Foundation for his ingenuity in putting smile on the faces of the less privilege and the poor in the society.
Arc Hassan Giwa, who had received several youth awards such as ECOWAS Youth Council (EYC)’s Award of Excellence, National Youth Assembly of Nigeria (NYAN)’s Award of Epitome of Humanitarian Service and West African Students’ Union (WASU)’s Award of Epitome of Good Leadership as well as Transparency & Sensation Support Initiative (TSSI)’s Award of Excellence Leadership, appreciated all the youth organizations for the recognitions.
He disclosed that the recognitions will continue to serve as motivation for him and several others who always find joy in putting smiles on the faces of those who have not in the society.
The Abuja-based businessman cum philanthropist said that it is the responsibility of all the people who have enjoyed the grace of almighty God to give back to the people based on their capacity from the resources God has given to them.
Arc Giwa, while dedicating all the awards to the masses and the less privileged people in the society, revealed that he used to dedicate the awards given to him to the poor and less privileged people because he wants them to always feel as part and parcel of the society.
He assured that he will continue to extend his philanthropic gesture to the less privileged and the needy in the society, emphasizing that it is the purpose of setting up the Hassan Olawale Giwa (HOG) Foundation.
Comrade Okelola Abiola Sunday, who is the National Director of Foreign Affairs of the Transparency & Sensitization Support Initiative (TSSI), appreciated the effort of Arc Giwa towards the societal transformation, therefore, assured that the youth will always yield to his call whenever there is need for it.
