In recognition of his contribution to the people and the society in general, two Northern youth organizations, Northern Voice for Credible Leadership (NVCL) and Arewa Youth Advocacy for Good Governance (AYAGG) have bestowed the leadership awards on Architect Hassan Olawale Giwa.
The recognition awards, according to the representatives of the two organizations, is to acknowledge and appreciate the kind gesture of people who have been giving back to the society from their resources.
Comrade Abubakar Munia, Amira Abubakar Ahmed and Awwal Adamu, who are the representatives of the Arewa Youth Advocacy for Good Governance (NVCL), disclosed that the Leadership Award of Excellence and Integrity as Epitome of Diligence Service, is to recognize his immense contributions to the society.
According to the Arewa Youth Advocacy, “This Award as Epitome of Diligence Service is in appreciation of your tireless effort in promoting peace, youth engagement and your selfless service to humanity.”
They acknowledged that Arc. Hassan Giwa has contributed to the development of the society through his foundation.
While presenting the Award of Excellence as Icon of Community Development, the Coordinator of the Northern Voice for Credible Leadership (AYAGG), Comrade Khalifa Kabiru Andaza, commended Arc, Hassan Giwa for taking the line of assisting the youths and the less privileged in the society.
“This Award is in recognition of your immense contribution towards societal development, human uplifting, youth development and service to the nation,”
Other members of the Northern Voice for Credible Leadership in the company of the Coordinator were Com. Zakariyya Sani, Com. Fatima Abubakar, Com. Hafsat Abdullahi and Com. Maryam.
In his appreciation, Arc Giwa commended the leadership of the organizations for deeming it fit to recognize him with the awards.
The Abuja-based businessman and Founder of Hassan Olawale Giwa (HOG) Foundation, said that it is the responsibility of all well to do people in the society to give back to the people no matter how small from the resources God has given to them.
While dedicating the award to the masses and the less privileged people in the society, Arc Giwa acknowledged that the award is a challenge to do more for the people.
The HOG founder said that the idea of his foundation is to contribute his quota to the development of mankind and the society.
While expressing that his passion for assistance prompted him to establish the foundation, where he will be able to touch many lives in his capacity, Arc Giwa reiterated his commitment to give necessary support to the organizations.
He enjoined all the well-meaning individuals in the society to inculcate the habit of helping one another, especially the less privileged in order to ensure a better society.
