Former Oyo state Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala has said it is too early to assess the performance of Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state in twelve months.
According to PaceSetter News, Alao-Akala stated this in an interview to commemorate his forthcoming 70th birthday anniversary.
According to him, “The day is still very young to rate the current government in Oyo State, Governor Seyi Makinde yet to spend a reasonable number of years of their tenure in office. We need to give him sometime before embarking on assessment exercise”.
“Going by my experience as an elder stateman, former chairman, deputy governor and governor, the best time to have a good and serious assessment of any administration is when the tenure lapses”.
“I can’t say anything about him now, I will only pray that God should help him as the right time to assess, rate and judge any administration is after they leave office” he stressed.
The Ogbomoso-born politician will clock 70 on June 3rd 2020.
