The forum of local government vice chairmen in the Oke Ogun Zonal area of Oyo state has on Friday met and elected new members of executive.
The forum which comprised the 10 local government areas in zone met in Okeho, Kajola local government area.
9 local government vice chairmen were present while ATISBO local government was absent because of the demise of the vice chairman.
This was contained in a communique made available to newsmen on Friday.
It reads: “The meeting commenced with appreciation to Oyo State Governor, Engr. Oluseyi Makinde, for his good governance and support during the last local government elections.
“Congratulations were extended to the Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Barr. Bayo Lawal on his appointment as Acting Governor. His fatherly role in Oke Ogun was also appreciated.
“The Governor was again appreciated for his support to Oke Ogun, particularly in road constructions across the region.
“A reminder was made about his promise to rehabilitate the following roads: – Okeho to Iganna road, Alaga to Idiko Ile road, Iseyin to Igbo Ora road and Ogbooro, Saki to Igboho and Igbope to kisi road.
” Hon. Dr. Robert, Vice Chairman Coordinator in Oke Ogun, expressed gratitude to the host Chairman, Hon. Barr. Akeem Olawale Mustapha, for his support in all ramifications.”
The members of the executive are Hon Dr Adeniji Charles Robert, coordinator from Kajola LGA, Hon Rasaq Morufu, secretary from Saki East LGA, Hon Wasiu Adewale Babatunde, treasurer from Oorelope LG, Mr Oladipupo Solomon, PRO from Iseyin LGA.
Other members present at the meeting were Adetoro Adegbola Olawale, Olanipekun Sunday Oyewole, Sanni Waidi Bolanle, Tiamiyu Rahamom Oyedokun and Ayangbade Peter Ayandokun.
