Former Chairman of ATISBO Local Government Area, Hon (Barr) Ayobami Ojo has returned to the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Oyo state.
Ojo, who represented ATISBO, Saki East State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly between 2011 to 2015 made this known shortly after a closed door meeting with core stakeholders of the party.
Barrister Ojo pledged his support for the reelection of Engr. Seyi Makinde and Barrister Bayo Lawal and other candidates of the party for the 2023 general elections.
His words: “l am returning back to the PDP fold because of the developmental projects and programmes embark upon by the Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Oluseyi Makinde across the length and breath of State.
“Of particular interest are the ways he had turned things around in Oke Ogun where I come from. From road constructions to upgrading and reconstructions of primary and secondary health care facilities, location of faculty of Agricultural Science in Iseyin among others.”
While reacting to the development, the Coordinator Seyi/Bayo campaign organization in ATISBO Local Government and Former Chairman ATISBO Local Government, Alhaji Ismail Adedeji expressed delight and satisfaction.
He described Honourable Ayobami Ojo as a team player and big fish in ATISBO Local Government politics.
He assured him and his team of readiness to work closely with him for the realization of the second term agenda of the party.
Also present at the meeting were Barrister Farinto, Deputy Director General Seyi/ Bayo Campaign Organization, Hon. Samuel Ademola Adejumobi, Special Adviser to the Governor on Legislative Matters, Elder Debo Adejumobi, Chairman, Oyo State Tourism and Culture among others
