Worried by the inability of the wife and daughter of the murdered former defender of Shooting Stars Sports Club, 3SC, of Ibadan, Izu Joseph, to cope financially, his family has written the governor of Oyo State, Sen. Abiola Ajimobi to pay the 8-month salary and 21 match bonuses owed the deceased.
Izu, an indigene of Rivers State, was holidaying in Bayelsa State, when he was killed by men of the Nigerian Army after being allegedly found with cultists. The Army, it was learnt, had marked the area ‘red’.
The letter, a copy of which was made available to insideoyo.com, on Monday morning, reads (unedited).
