Former member of the House of Representatives representing Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North in the 8th Assembly, Hon.Olugbenga Ojoawo has described the death of the former governor of Oyo State, Sen. Abiola Ajimobi and Omo’ba Gbaye Adewuyi as a loss to Oyo State and indeed Nigeria.
Hon. Ojoawo stated this in his condolence message personally signed and make available to newsmen in Ibadan on Saturday.
Ojoawo said: “This month of June year 2020 can never be forgotten easily in the history of Oyo State as the state loss two illustrious sons who distinguished themselves and make marks in all sphere of life.
“The death of Senator Abiola Ajimobi on Thursday, June 25 and that of Omo’ba Gbaye Adewuyi in the early hours of same day is a death two many in Oyo state.”
Hon. Ojoawo said Senator Ajimobi raised the standard of political development in the state also Omo’ba Gbaye Adewuyi an illustrious son of Lanlate cannot be forgotten especially his contributions to indigent students in higher institutions of Learning.
He commiserated with all the good people of Ibadanland, Ibarapaland, and Oyo State over this irreparable loss of the two great man.
