Former Commissioner of Agriculture and Natural Resource in Oyo state, Hon. Ambali Ahmed is dead.
According to the Nigerian Tribune, Ahmed, aged 66, died after a brief illness and has been buried according to Islamic rites at his country home, Alagbaa in Akinyele local government area.
The former Chief whip, House of Assembly, Hon. Abiodun Adigun-Ahmed confirmed his demise to Tribune Online on Wednesday in Ibadan.
Ahmed during his lifetime represented Akinyele constituency II at the Oyo State House of Assembly and was instrumental in the passage of several bills.
