The family of late Governor Abiola Ajimobi has been thrown into mourning as news filtered in on Thursday morning that his first child, Bisola Kola-Daisi, is dead.
It was gathered that Bisola, who celebrated her 42nd birthday few days ago, died in London, United Kingdom, after a brief illness.
Bisola, a prominent figure in Nigeria’s luxury retail scene and a dedicated philanthropist, was not just known for her family legacy but also for her significant contributions to the business world. As the Managing Director of Grandex Nigeria Ltd., a leading FMCG retail and wholesale chain established in 1984, and founder of the prestigious Florence H. Luxury boutique, she carved out a name for herself.
She was married to Ibadan-born politician and bank executive, Kolapo Kola-Daisi, and they have three children together.
Before her untimely death, Bisola served as special adviser to Minister of Budget and Planning, Atiku Bagudu.
