Oyo state Command of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has deployed 150 armed officers to complement other security personnel drafted for the Edo governorship election scheduled for this saturday Sept. 19 2020
This was made known today by the State Commandant Iskilu Akinsanya while addressing the personnel before embarking on journey to Edo State.
Commandant Akinsanya advised officers from Oyo Command to be of good conduct ,be ambassador of their homes and exhibit professionalism in discharging their duties during the election.
He stated further that as a security agent they must ensure free, fair and credible elections devoid of Bribery, Rigging and Hijacking of the Ballot Boxes by Hoodlums anywhere they were posted.
He later Enjoined the Officers to Synergize with all other Security Agencies and protect youth corpers, electoral officer, electoral material, the citizens and government properties.
