As Christians celebrate Easter across the world, the Chairman of Oyo State Housing Corporation, Barrister Bayo Lawal has felicitated with Christians over the celebration of this year’s Easter.
Bayo Lawal also urged residents of the state to continue supporting the Oyo state government-led by Engineer Seyi Makinde.
He made this known in a statement made available to newsmen on Sunday.
The Bamofin of Kisi also thanked God for guiding the Governor in piloting the affairs of the state despite numerous challenges facing the state and the country at large.
He called on Christians to use this Easter festival to pray for the state and the country for peace to reign in our land.
The statement read: “As Christians celebrate Easter all over the world, I want to use this opportunity to felicitate with them on the celebration of this year’s Easter.
“I also want to urge them to continue supporting the Oyo state government-led by His Excellency, Engineer Seyi Makinde. They should use this Easter period to pray for the Governor, the state and the country.
“We all know different challenges the state and the country are facing. We cannot rule out the power and essence of prayers in fighting these challenges. Let us all keep supporting and praying for our dear state and nation.”
