Governor Seyi Makinde’s representatives, Senator Abdulfatai Buhari (Oyo North), Senator Jide Omoworare, former speaker and serving minority leader of Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Asimiyu Alarape; Dr. Olusola Eruobodo, Hon. Dapo Lam Adesina, Chief Imam of Oyoland – Sheik Mashud AbdulGaniyy Adebayo; Sheik Mudathir Bada, Sheikh Taofeek Akeugbagold and other dignitaries on Sunday graced 3rd Day Special Prayers Session for late Barrister (Chief) Angela Nwaka Folarin.
The deceased, wife of Senator Teslim Folarin (Oyo Central), passed away in London on January 28 at the age of 47.
The 3rd Day Special Prayers Session held at Folarin House, Oluyole Estate Ibadan, was attended by political gladiators across parties, religious leaders, traditional leaders, family friends, and other well-wishers.
Governor Makinde’s representatives were his Personal Assistant 1, Alhaji Abdulakeem Abdulazeez; and Special Adviser on Islamic Affairs, Imam Abdulrasheed Wale Azeez. Also in attendance were former house of assembly members, which included Rt. Hon. Kehinde Subair, Rt. Hon. Adigun Hammed Murphy, Hon. Akin Ali, Hon. D.A Lawal, Hon. Fatai Salaam, Hon. Sakiru Fajinmi, Hon. Abiodun Adegoke, Hon. Ibrahim Bolomope and others.

APC elders and gladiators who attended the special prayers session for departed Angela Folarin were Chief MKO Olaoye, Alhaji Kamorudeen Ajisafe, Alhaji Musbaudeen Adeleke, Alhaji Audu Marafa, Dr. Fola Akinosun, Chief Wasiu Ajimobi, Engr. Faozey Nurudeen, Engr. Yekeen Abolade, Hon. Asifu, Hon. Akeem Ila, Alhaji Alebiosu, Hon. Fatai Adesokan, Hon. Adediran Asifu, Alhaja Modinat Temitope among others. Women and youth wings of APC from all 33 LGAs were also represented while Hon. Oke Are Aina led former councillors on the platform of APC.
Chairman of the Nigerian, Communications Commission, Professor Adeolu Akande was ably represented.
The delegation which was led by Hon Gbenga Opaleye, former Chairman, Ibadan South West local government also included Hon Niyi Adeagbo, Former Chairman, Itesiwaju local government.
Meanwhile, Senator Kola Balogun (Oyo South), wife and supporters also paid their condolence visit to the Oluyole residence of the three-term senator.
