Shooting stars football club of Ibadan has failed to secure a spot in the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) following a 3 – 0 defeat by Akwa Starlets on Monday, in the play-off match at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba, InsideOyo.com reports.
Two goals from Femi Ajayi in the first half and a goal Obo Archibong in the second half gave the Akwa-Ibom based football club the ticket to play in the NPFL next season.
