Those who were quick to fault the political style of Dapo Lam-Adesina, son of former Oyo State governor, Lam Adesina, may begin to have a rethink now.
For him, empowering the people to get better and lifting them out of the shackles of poverty has been his watchword.
From his time as a commissioner in the state, Dapo has shown that his kind of politics will be a major shift from the norm.
His is one that puts the people forward in every project executed and accomodated everyone, irrespective of political affiliation. Now a member of the Lower Chamber of the National Assembly, Omo Oloore as he’s fondly called, has succeeded in worming himself into the hearts of his followers, especially in his constituency, Ibadan South East/Ibadan North-East through different empowerment programmes.
Days back, he acted true to type when he rewarded best West African Certificate Examination (WAEC) students and pupils with cash grants of N50,000 each while Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT) and All Nigerian Confederation of Principals of Secondary Schools (ANCOPSS) in his constituency with a cash grant of N100, 000 each.
