The Honourable member representing Ibadan North Federal constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon. Dada Awoleye has concluded plans to contest the 2019 general elections under the platform of the Accord party.
According to reliable sources, the two term House of Representatives member will be seeking a third term in the green chambers on the platform of Accord party.
Checks at the state office of Accord revealed that Hon. Awoleye who was also a former member of the Oyo state House of Assembly, has obtained the nomination form of the party, and from all indication he is most likely to emerge as the party’s candidate for the Ibadan North federal constituency, House of Representatives elections.
Awoleye who was a member of the All Progressive Congress, was believed to be considering join the African Democratic Congress, but have opted for Accord following the announcement of another candidate.
Effort to reach Hon. Awoleye as at the time of filing this report was unsuccessful, as calls and messages sent to him by Sunrise Bulletin were not answered or responded to.
