Men of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, have intercepted 70 northerners in Ogbomoso in the early hours of Wednesday.
The Chief Press Secretary to the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, Mr Taiwo Adisa, revealed this while speaking on TVC Your View programme this morning.

However, their arrest came less than 24 hours after the Oyo State government vowed to influx of foreigners from other states into the state.
This is despite warning that non-residents should enter the state due to the raging coronavirus pandemic.
He also revealed that the travelers, who were to be dropped in batches in Ibadan, Sagamu and Lagos are from Kano, Kaduna, Katsina and Zamfara states.
They are currently being held by the area commander of NSCDC in Ogbomoso, awaiting directive before they would be led to the borders.
Recall the Oyo State Government on Tuesday vowed to ensure interstate travel is halted, as one of the precautionary measures to contain and curtail the novel pandemic.
