Late last year, 2021, the City of Ibadan, Oyo State Capital City witnessed a huge hurricane in its entertainment and hospitality business as Copacapana Lounge opened its Ibadan branch and has since raised the bar beyond the range.
With its Sunday Vibes, Ladies Night, and Copa Friday among other events, no day or night of the week or weekend is treated with levity as entertainment and enjoyment became the watchword of each day.
Having invited and attracted afrobeat artists such as Reekado Banks, Skiibi, Vector, Klever Jay, etc. comedians, Music and concerts Compere, Hypemen, etc, the Bodija-based lounge has become the number one among many other entertainment and recreation hubs in Ibadan.
On Saturday, Klever Jay headlined the Traffic Light Party with hype-man B Spark, while the Fast rising Music Compere, MC Twinkle held his Twinkle Piano “The Whistle Party” amidst fanfare.
The Whistle party, a special karaoke in which people took turns to sing popular songs into a microphone over prerecorded backing tracks with a whistle is an initiative of Copacapana through MC Twinkle, from Friday till Sunday Copacapana Sold out and the City of Ibadan was Shutdown.
