The Unity Forum faction of the Oyo State chapter of the ruling All Progressives Congress has today Tuesday, announced its decision to leave the party.
This was made known in a Facebook post by the Public Relations Officer of the faction, Mr Wasiu Sadare. However, he said the destination of the faction will be announced in few days.
“Breaking:Unity Forum leaves Oyo APC…Destination to be announced in few days.” He posted.
Insideoyo.com gathered that the faction is currently holding a meeting in the state capital to decide the next step to take.
Political observers who spoke with insideoyo.com had earlier predicted that some of the members may join the Obasanjo’s third force while others may join the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to win the state from Ajimobi faction in 2019.
