The University of Ibadan which was shut down on May 29 and was scheduled for reopening on July 17, has now changed the resumption date for students.
Upon deliberations at the Senate’s meeting today, the university has re-scheduled resumption for July 2nd, 2017.
This was made known by the University’s Public Relations Officer, Mr. Olatunji Oladejo.
Mr. Oladejo also noted that the undergraduate first semester examinations will begin on July 4.
University of Ibadan was earlier shut down following the students’ demonstration over unsatisfactory welfare conditions among other issues.
