Workers at the University College Hospital, Ibadan and others will remain work on Monday as the Joint Health Workers Union (JOHESU) suspended its nationwide strike.
The union, which has embarked on strike for over 40 days directed all members to resume work on Monday, June 4, 2018.
Recall that the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, had said it still treats, at least, 250 patients daily, cutting across different age groups and conditions despite national JOHESU strike.
UCH’s Director of Clinical Services, Research and Training, Dr Victor Akinmoladun, had stated this when reacting to news report that the hospital had shut down.
