The Oyo state House of Assembly has, on Tuesday suspended the chairman of Saki West local government area, Mr Sarafadeen Omirinde, insideoyo.com reports.
This suspension was to allow the House to investigate various allegations levelled against the chairman in a correspondence written to the house.
The correspondence which was signed by two-third members of the legislative arm of the local government was read by Clerk of the House.
The allegations included gross misconduct, religious intolerance, Anti party activities, unlawful diversion of the local government subvention among others.
The house directed the Vice Chairman, Mr Gbenga Akinola to takeover from the chairman while the Leader of the Legislative arm take over the position of the vice chairman.
