The Oyo State House of Assembly today approved the extension of the tenure of caretaker chairmen for another four months.
Parliament source told Insideoyo.com that this was after the governor had written the Assembly for extension.
Though the governor did not appoint helmsmen for the Irepo, Asabari and Lagelu West LCDA, all the council bosses who were appointed three months ago, were returned.
Again, Oyo government did not follow the recommendation of the Assembly which advised him to consider women in chairmanship appointment.
