Governor Seyi Makinde has approved the termination of appointment of Muritala Olajide Adigun, also known as Adigun Ibadan as Special Assistant on Digital Media.
Mr Adigun’s termination was announced on Friday, March 27.
Olubamiwo Adeosun, Secretary to the State government, made this known in a letter addressed to Mr Adigun.
The government said it appreciated Adigun’s commitment within the short time.
Insideoyo.com recalls that Adigun while in office used a picture of fumigation machine belonging to the Lagos State government claiming it’s for Oyo State.
An incident which many people condemned and regarded as gross incompetent on his part.
He, however, apologized for its usage claiming hackers tampered with his facebook account to post it.
Insideoyo.com could not verify if his appointment termination was because of the incident.
Adigun was appointed in February 2020.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of Ibadan and a National Certificate in Education (NCE) from Osun State College of Education, Ilesha.
Adigun also attended the Ratibi Muslim School I, Oluyoro, Oke-Offa, Ibadan as well as the Oke’badan High School, Oluyoro Oke-Offa, Ibadan.
He is a farmer and used to be a classroom a teacher.
