Bonuola Vanguard, a group founded in memory of Late Senator Robert Bonuola Koleosho has congratulated Governor ‘Seyi Makinde, over his re-election as Governor of the state.
Bonuola vanguard whose members cut across Saki, Oke Ogun and Oyo state at large lauded the peaceful process that brought in Governor Seyi Makinde for second term.
The group made this known in a statement by its founder, Hon Adekunle Koleosho, on Monday.
Governor Makinde, who contested under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, emerged winner, having polled 563,756 votes cast beating his opponents, Senator Teslim Folarin of the All Progressives Congress, APC, who polled 256,685 and others.
The group also appreciated the good people of Oyo state for coming out to vote for Engr. Seyi Makinde.
The group urged residents to keep supporting the Seyi Makinde-led administration as they will benefit more from good governance.
While applauding the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC and all the security agencies for making sure that the process was a success, the group also urged Governor Seyi Makinde to continue to do more for the people, giving them the dividends of democracy.
