A group, Bonuola Vanguard, has congratulated Governor Seyi Makinde, his wife, Mrs Tamunominini Makinde and Otunba Seye Famojuro over the Chieftaincy titles given to them by the Olugbon of Ile-Igbon, Oba Francis Olushola Alao.
Governor Makinde was honored with Aare Orile-Igbon, his wife was honored with Yeye Aare Orile-Igbon and Otunba Seye Famojuro was honored with Balogun Bobajiroro of Orile-Igbon.
Bonuola Vanguard is a group founded in memory of Late Senator Robert Bonuola Koleosho whose members cut across Saki, Oke Ogun and Oyo state at large.
In a statement signed by the founder of the group, Hon Adekunle Koleosho, on Sunday, the group said the good works, good hearts, supports and people’s friendly policies of the Seyi Makinde-led government must have fetched them the award.
The group added that more awards and laurels await them as the Omituntun 2.0 continues in the state adding that they all deserve the honor.
The group also called on the people of Oyo state to continue to support and pray for the Seyi Makinde-led government to enable him deliver more dividends of democracy.
The statement read in part: “On behalf of Bonuola Vanguard, I want to congratulate His Excellency, Engineer Seyi Makinde and Her Excellency, Engineer Tamunominini Makinde over the Aare Orile-Igbon and Yeye Aare Orile-Igbon Chieftaincy titles.
“We also want to congratulate Otunba Seye Famojuro over the Chieftaincy title of Balogun Bobajiroro of Orile-Igbon. Your good heart, supporting spirit must be one of the reasons for this honor. These Chieftaincy titles are well-deserved going by your contributions to the development of our dear state.
“We also want to use this opportunity to urge all the residents of Oyo state to continue to support the Seyi Makinde-led administration.”
