The 2023 All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Oyo State, Senator Teslim Folarin has joined other people of goodwill across the globe to felicitate High Chief Rashidi Ladoja as he celebrates his 78th Birthday on Sunday, 25th September 2022.
The three-term senator, in a goodwill message he personally signed and made available to journalists in Ibadan on Sunday, described ex-governor Ladoja as an iconic statesman and political rallying point.
The statement reads:
On behalf of my family and the good people of Oyo Central Senatorial District, I heartily felicitate a father, visionary leader and iconic statesman, His Excellency Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja on the auspicious occasion of his 78th birthday anniversary.
The Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland is one of the few leaders who has contributed immensely to the growth of Oyo state and stability of Nigeria.
Without doubt, the former governor has earned himself the respect of every Oyo citizen on account of his roles as a bridge builder, political rallying point and development advocate with many positive stripes.
Folarin prays God to grant the former Governor good health and more rewarding years ahead.
