The remains of the Late Vice Chairman of ATISBO local government area, Mr Jacob Ajesola has been buried on Saturday, in Tede, Oke Ogun area of Oyo state.
Ajesola who died on 15th of June, 2024 was also the Political Head of ATISBO South Local Council Development Area.
Speaking at the burial, the chairman of the local government, Alhaji Bashir Olumuyiwa Alade described the late Ajesola as a state man who put the interest of the people above his personal interest.
Alade announced the donation of the sum of five million naira on behalf of the ATISBO local government area to the widow and children of the deceased.
He added that the Late Ajesola will be greatly missed for the principles he stood for during his lifetime.
He condoled with family, friends, loved ones and well-wishers praying that his soul rest in peace.
The burial ceremony also witnessed tributes from the Oyo State Governor and Commissioner for local government and Chieftaincy Matters who were represented by Commissioner for Establishment and Training, Honorable Niyi Adebisi.
They admonished the family to take solace in the fact that he died as a devoted Christian.
They added that the legacy he left behind will continue to speak well about him.
