The Chairman of ATISBO local government area of Oyo state, Alhaji Bashir Olumuyiwa Alade, has flagged off the construction of a 190-meter rubble stone wall lined drains at BOFAT Hotel road, Irawo Ile.
Although Alhaji Alade was not present at the event, he was ably represented by the Vice Chairman, Sola Ogundiya, on Friday.
This project is part of his efforts to enhance the infrastructure and livelihoods of its residents.
The construction of the rubble stone wall lined drains aims to improve the drainage system and prevent erosion in the area.
According to the Vice Chairman, Sola Ogundiya, “The project is a testament to the local government’s commitment to providing quality infrastructure for our people. We are confident that this project will bring about significant improvements in the lives of our residents.”
The project is expected to be completed within a short period of time. The local government has assured residents that the construction process will be carried out with minimal disruption to daily activities.
Alhaji Bashir Olumuyiwa Alade has been proactive in implementing development projects in ATISBO local government area since his assumption of office.
Recall that he marked his 100 days in office by commissioning several projects, including a block of 3 rooms office with toilet and cell as AMOTEKUN Security Post, a block of two rooms office, toilet and cell as police security post, and a motorized borehole.
The people of ATISBO local government area are optimistic that these projects will bring about significant improvements in their lives and livelihoods.
As one resident noted, “We are grateful for the efforts of our local government chairman and his team. These projects will go a long way in making our community a better place to live.”
The local government has urged residents to cooperate with the construction team and to report any concerns or issues to the relevant authorities.
