The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate in the 2019 election, Atiku Abubakar has hailed Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State for declaring his assets.

Recall that insideoyo.com had earlier reported that Seyi Makinde declared his assets worth over 48 billion naira.
Makinde is the first governor to declare his assets after the 2019 general elections.

While reacting to the development, Atiku in a tweet on Tuesday, described it as a testament to integrity and accountability worthy of emulation.
“@seyiamakinde, the trailblazing PDP governor of Oyo State’s feat in publicly declaring his assets is a testament to integrity and accountability worthy of emulation,” he tweeted.
