The Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC) Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) and Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, has approved the composition of a National Reconciliation Committee for the Party.
According to a statement by the CECPC Secretary, John Akpan Udo-Edehe, the National Reconciliation Committee will be chaired by former governor of Nasarawa State, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, while former deputy governor Oyo State, Otunba Moses Adeyemo will serve as Secretary.
Other members of the committee include former Enugu State Governor, Sullivan Chime; immediate past Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara; former deputy governor of Lagos State, Dr Oluranti Adebule;Minister of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Sen. George Akume; Ali Saad Birnin Kudu; Alh. Suleiman Argungu and Dr. (Mrs) Beta Edu.
“The committee will be inaugurated at a later date with a terms of reference on what the CECPC expects the team to achieve,” the statement said.
