The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has officially released the results of her recent accreditation exercise for Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa, which revealed a hundred percent success rate.
The approval was conveyed through a letter dated April 8, 2025, and signed by Dr. (Mrs.) Fatima Kabir Umar, Director of Polytechnic Programmes, on behalf of the Executive Secretary of the NBTE.
The accreditation followed a visitation by NBTE officials to the Institution between March 6 and 8, 2025. The Board confirmed that several programmes have now been fully accredited for a five-year period, effective from the 2025/2026 academic session.
The already existing programmes which were presented for re-accreditation are:
ND Accountancy
ND Public Administration
HND Procurement and Supply Chain Management
HND Office Technology and Management
HND Library and Information Science
HND Art and Industrial Design (Graphics Option)
HND Civil Engineering Technology
HND Electrical Engineering Technology (Electronics and Telecom Option)
HND Electrical Engineering Technology (Power and Machines Option)
HND Mechanical Engineering Technology (Manufacturing)
HND Mechanical Engineering Technology (Plant Engineering)
While the newly approved programmes are:
HND Estate Management and Valuation
HND Marketing
HND Accountancy
HND Public Administration
HND Fashion Design and Clothing Technology
The NBTE also advised the Institution to, as a matter of routine; ensure timely re-accreditation of all programmes in order to maintain eligibility for admitting students in future academic sessions.
Reacting to the news, Dr. ‘Gbade Akinteye, Acting Rector of Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, expressed his gratitude to the NBTE for the approvals. He also commended the collective efforts of the institution’s Governing Council, Management, Staff, and Students for their contributions towards achieving the milestone.
“This is a testament to our commitment to academic excellence and continuous improvement,” Dr. Akinteye stated.
