The national working committee of the African Democratic Party, ADC, said it is working to resolve all agitations, appeals, and petitions arising from the concluded Congresses.
Recall that stakeholders and other members have criticised Congresses in Oyo state, allegations that question the future of the newly established party backed by former president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.
Insideoyo.com gathered that the Unity Forum wing of the party had earlier given the National Working Committee 72 hours ultimatum to attend to crisis in the party in the state. The ultimatum is expected to expire at the end of today.
But in a statement issued by the Panel secretary, Barr. Justine Abanida, assured all party members that the leadership of the party will solve all complains even as the deadline given by the Unity Forum draws nearer.
“The Panel set up by NWC received some few agitations, appeals, and petitions in respect of the just concluded Congresses.
“The national leadership of our great party ADC wishes to assure all petitioners, stakeholders, and members that efforts are ongoing towards equitable resolution of all the issues and complaints. We are interrogating and consulting to ensure that all matters are sorted in the best interests of all members and to privilege our party.
“We therefore urge all aggrieved members to be calm and remain focused on our ultimate objective of winning elections at all levels and impacting our people and nation positively, the statement reads.
