Nine young Muslims will tomorrow, 31st December, 2022, graduate from the Quranic classes of Bodija Estate & Environs Muslim Community, BEEMC.
At the event billed to take place within the premises of the Islamic centre, member representing Ibadan North federal constituency, Hon. Musliudeen Olaide Akinremi will be special guest.
The graduating students are Uthman Ibrahim, Abdul Somad Olanrewaju, Abdul Qawiyy Olanrewaju, AbdulSalam Bello, AbdulAzeem Oyeleke, Abdul Samad Oyeleke, Amuda Haleemah, Sa’ad Abdul Salam and Naqeebah Arowolo.
Islamic and Arabic teacher at the University of Ibadan, who doubles as chairman of Board of Religious Affairs, BORA, chairman, Prof Kamil Koyejo Oloso, is expected to deliver a lecture relating to the event.
BEEMC chairman, Engr. Kolapo Yunus Adisa, in a statement made available to the public by Sikiru Akinola, publicity secretary of the community, thanked the teachers for the impactful work they have done on the little kids, enjoining members of the public to attend the event.
”We are grateful to our Board of Religious Affairs as well as the teachers who have impacted Arabic and Islamic knowledge in these kids.
“We are also grateful to the parents for the cooperation over the years. It isn’t over yet, Islamic and Arabic knowledge is till eternity. We beseech Allah to accept is as an act of Ibadah.
“We also pray the graduands will be useful not only to their parents but to Islam in general.”
