Oyo State House Assembly Member-Elect to represent Saki East and Atisbo Constituency, Hon. Riliwan Saminu Gbadamosi popularly known as Wale Canada Muslim Ummah, has urged Muslim faithfuls to work in unity and pray for the success of Engr. Seyi Makinde as the Governor of Oyo State.
He made this call in his goodwill message for the Eid-el-Kabir celebration made available to InsidOyo.com. He said that the people of Oyo State irrespective of their religious, ethnic or political affiliation should join hands with the new leadership of the state by Engr. Seyi Makinde in its effort towards revitalising the state’s economy and in fulfilling his electoral promises.
“If we join hands together irrespective of our religious, ethnic and political leanings to play our own part to the development of the state and the country at large, I have no doubt in my mind that Oyo State will speedily return back to its Pacesetter status under the new government,” Gbadamosi said.
He charged the people of the state not to relent in their prayers for total restoration of peace and tranquility to the country and all political office holders while urging for moderate celebration.
