Deputy executive secretary (services) at the Universal Basic Education Commision, UBEC, Dr. Isiaka Kolawole has been announced as director general of Teslim Folarin gubernatorial campaign in Oyo State for 2023 general elections.
The announcement was made during a special stakeholders meeting held on Sunday at Oke-Ado Secretariat of the party.
In attendance at the meeting were the 2023 governorship candidate of the party, Senator Teslim Folarin; Chairman of Oyo APC Elders Advisory Council, Chief (Barr.) Iyiola Oladokun; His Excellency Engr Remi Olaniyan, State Chairman of the party, Hon. Isaac Omodewu; Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle, Hon. Akeem Adeyemi, Hon. Tolu Sadipe, all 2023 APC candidates in Oyo and other critical stakeholders.
Kolawole will be assisted by a former council chairman who has many bachelor and postgraduate degrees, Yemi Aderibigbe as deputy and the trio of Kehinde Subair (Oyo south), Paul Oyetunji (Oyo central) and Yinka Taiwo (Oyo north).
According to document obtained, 1,970 party members constitute the campaign council.
